Stevan Rajta, head of the Serbian Association of Winemakers and Winegrowers, has worked with grapes in vineyards since he was a child.

Currently, he is pioneering critical work for the local winemaking industry, which involves the creation of appellations for the first time in Serbia, as well as various other initiatives to increase and ensure wine quality.

When asked what Wine Vision contributed to the region, our guest stated that it vastly increased our mutual knowledge and understanding of wines and wine regions in Serbia, Albania, and North Macedonia. It paved the way for wines and winemakers from these three countries to collaborate on the world wine scene.

Our guest also provided some fascinating facts with us, based on his extensive experience of the wine industry: Wine Vision by Open Balkan has already become one of the top five wine fairs in Europe in terms of the number of exhibitors and guests.
