Upravo o toj temi govorilo se u novoj epizodi podcasta (Ne)poznato o ljudskom tijelu, \u010dija je go\u0161\u0107a bila primarijus dr. Meliha Mehi\u0107, klini\u010dki farmakolog.<\/p>\n<p>Razgovor je otvoren pitanjem koje se danas \u010desto uzima zdravo za gotovo: \u0161ta su zapravo vitamini i za\u0161to su neophodni za \u017eivot. Dr. Mehi\u0107 podsjetila je da sama rije\u010d vitamin u sebi nosi rije\u010d \u201cvita\u201d, odnosno \u017eivot.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Da nema vitamina, ni \u017eivot ne bi bio mogu\u0107. Vitamine na\u0161e tijelo treba. Treba za mnogobrojne funkcije. I prema definiciji koju mo\u017eemo na\u0107i u ud\u017ebenicima, vitamini su razli\u010dite supstance. Supstance koje su nam potrebne u malim koli\u010dinama, imaju svoju odre\u0111enu hemijsku strukturu, a koje mi, na\u0161e tijelo, ne mo\u017ee nikako, ili mo\u017ee u minimalnim koli\u010dinama da proizvodi, ali te koli\u010dine nisu dovoljne za sve uloge i funkcije koje jedan vitamin ima. Ili njih 13 koliko ih je zapravo u ekipi. S druge strane, vitamini nisu proteini, nisu masti, nisu ugljikohidrati, nisu hrana, nisu zamjena za hranu, ali jesu dopuna, objasnila je dr. Mehi\u0107.<\/p>\n<p>Poseban fokus bio je na savremenom na\u010dinu \u017eivota zbog kojeg je, kako je istaknuto, danas gotovo nemogu\u0107e sve potrebe organizma zadovoljiti isklju\u010divo hranom.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Suplementi su postali na\u0161a realnost. Samo je poenta da ih razumijemo na pravi na\u010din. Manje je vi\u0161e kad je rije\u010d o vitaminima. Potrebno je znati koliko, \u010dega i koliko dugo, poru\u010dila je dr. Mehi\u0107.<\/p>\n<p>Jedan od najzanimljivijih dijelova razgovora odnosio se na vitamin D, o kojem se danas govori vi\u0161e nego ikada ranije. Dr. Mehi\u0107 objasnila je da vitamin D nije samo vitamin nego i hormon.<\/p>\n<p>Govore\u0107i o simptomima manjka vitamina D, navela je umor, slabost mi\u0161i\u0107a, bolove u kostima i le\u0111ima, lo\u0161e raspolo\u017eenje pa \u010dak i depresivne epizode.<\/p>\n<p>Veliki dio epizode bio je posve\u0107en i vitaminu B12, njegovoj vezi s depresijom, problemima sa \u017eelucem i savremenim na\u010dinom ishrane.
